Blaine Takes His Seat

The Speaker: — I hereby inform the Assembly that the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly has received from the Chief Electoral Officer a certificate of the election and return of Blaine McLeod as member for the constituency of Lumsden-Morse, a certificate of the election and return of Noor Burki as the member for the constituency of Regina Coronation Park, and a certificate of the election and return of Jared Clarke as member for the constituency of Regina Walsh Acres. I hereby inform the Assembly the return of the writs were filed with the Clerk of the Assembly on September 5th, 2023.

Hon. Mr. Moe: — Mr. Speaker, I have the honour of presenting Mr. Blaine McLeod, member for the constituency of LumsdenMorse, who has taken the oath, signed the roll, and now claims the right to take his seat.

The Speaker: — Congratulations. Mr. McLeod, as you take your rightful place in this Legislative Assembly, I am sure that your time here will be one that serves as a record of honour to yourself and your constituents. Welcome to the Legislative Assembly, and let the hon. member take his seat.
